Press Center & Speakers’ Lounge
The Press Center & Speakers’ Lounge will be open on Monday, April 12, to Wednesday, April 14, 2010 from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm and on Thursday, April 15, 2010 from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. Entrance Area / C Concourse (street level) in the Convention Center, Room 106.

Parking spaces in the vicinity of the Charlotte Convention Center
Parking is available at prevailing rates in parking lots and towers surrounding the Charlotte Convention Center. There is also metered parking available on the main streets in downtown Charlotte. The Westin Charlotte Hotel has more than 1,600 parking spaces directly at the Convention Center. Additional information:

Transportation to the Charlotte Convention Center

Hotel shuttle service
A free shuttle is available between selected hotels and the Charlotte Convention Center. Shuttle bus routes are color-coded (please follow signs for bus shuttle stops and times). The shuttle service will make runs every 20-30 minutes on all days of the event. Please contact your hotel about transportation between the airport and your hotel. For further information, please check the website at

Arrival by air

The Charlotte Convention Center is about 15 minutes from Charlotte Douglas International Airport.
It handles more than 600 flights/day with non-stop flights to over 120 destinations worldwide.

ATM machine
The Convention Center has an ATM machine on site. Withdrawals are possible using EC cards (featuring the Maestro logo) or international credit cards at any time of day (for a fee).

Located next to Ballroom A on the Conference & Meeting Room Level.
