In October 2007, NürnbergMesse expanded its global network into the North American Market. The subsidiary NürnbergMesse North America is located just North of Atlanta, with direct access to downtown Atlanta, and just 20 minutes away from the Atlanta airport. For directions please click here.

NürnbergMesse North America started its USA operations by organizing the American Coatings SHOW in Charlotte, North Carolina in June of 2008. The second American Coatings SHOW and CONFERENCE was held in April 2010, another impressive success with 328 exhibitors and 6,700 participants (2008: 331 / 5,600). Exhibitors and visitors alike see the American Coatings SHOW as THE leading North American industry show and conference for the paint and coatings industry.

Within the next years, NürnbergMesse North America will expand its portfolio of North American trade shows.


NürnbergMesse is one of today’s fastest-growing exhibition companies in Europe. The exhibition centre in Nürnberg is even one of the 20 largest in the world. With altogether 120 trade shows worldwide – including in Brazil, China, Japan, Russia, USA and India – it is a permanent player in the international trade show market. Here the group is not limited to one main theme, but is distinguished by its successful mix of themes.

The internationality of the NürnbergMesse Group has been consolidated and extended by founding four subsidiaries in Brazil, China, North America and Italy.

Around 24,500 exhibitors (international share: 33 %), 785,000 trade visitors (international share: 17 %) and 305,000 consumers participate every year in all events of the NürnbergMesse Group.

Another important part of our business is managing and operating USA Pavilions overseas, e.g. BioFach, Chillventa, and the European Coatings SHOW as well as supporting our American clients in participating in our trade show overseas. Some of the events we participate in are certified under the U.S. Department of Commerce's Trade Fair Certification Program.

As the US Representative for NürnbergMesse Group we assist and support US companies to expand their business into global markets. The increase of cross-cultural business as well as global networking open new business opportunities and our team works with international companies to exploit these business opportunities in all global markets.

The economic environment is creating a shift in the U.S. tradeshow exhibitor and visitor demographics. We see more and more global businesses sending senior-level executives and department heads to the U.S. shows. These high-ranking participants want to quickly connect with pre-qualified buyers and expect immediate returns on their tradeshow investments.
